I can’t express enough how much I love breakfast pizza. I’m silly for it. I’ve really only had it at a few places out but I like to make it myself as well. Perhaps a future video is in order. Hell, anything that keeps the monkeys from screaming so loud in my head right? Continue reading I’d like to take a moment to talk to you about breakfast pizza
Lately I’ve been having a lot of fun getting a bunch of t-shirt designs together for GetShirtsPrinted.com I’ve been resurrecting some old designs and creating all new ones. I’m very excited about the ability to do one offs that are quality with today’s DTG printers. I invite you to check out some of my prints below with some “how I did them” info and some obligatory general ramblings. Continue reading Having fun creating shirt designs for GSP
First off, I’m not a big Ashton Kutcher fan. Not my type of dude or humor most the time. That being said, this movie is really awesome! Let’s throw the needle back a bit shall we. The “butterfly effect” refers to a scientific concept of chaos theory that says small seemingly insignificant causes can have massive effects. The term was coined by Edward Lorenz, an American meteorologist and mathematician, who noticed that small variations in his initial input of his weather models would produce a vastly different output. He made the comparison to a butterfly flapping its wings changing air patterns that would eventually have an effect on a storm system weeks later. So, is this a review or a science lesson you ask? It’s both! And stop interrupting me damn it! Continue reading The Butterfly Effect
The five notes! That’s what everyone hears in their head when they think of 1977’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Yes I’m comfortable speaking for all humanity… wouldn’t be the first time 😉 This movie is one of my all time favorites for so many reasons other than it’s another chance to play “spot Lance Henriksen” which you all know is one of my favorite pastimes. Continue reading Close Encounters of the Third Kind
There’s many reasons we moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2015 from Highland, NY. Besides the obvious allure of the casino scene this is the first winter EVER that I didn’t need a winter coat much less a shovel! My back thanks me not to mention I wouldn’t be able to shovel anyway after that jerk smashed into us at a red light last year. My shoveling days are thankfully involuntarily behind me. Continue reading This is why I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada
First off, Tom Cruise is certifiably crazy in my humble opinion (yeah, I write that crap out because I’m not lazy). That aside, I like this movie. It’s a cool little sci-fi movie that’s got a very bleak feel almost reminiscent of a “stuck in a haunted house” type of horror film for the first half of it. Continue reading Oblivion starring the completely sane Tom Cruise
Back in September of 2015 scientists detected a pair of black holes that spun towards each other and combined into an even larger black hole, all taking place about 1.3 billion light years away. These black holes are around 30 times bigger than our own sun and I would assume this event is just what they were hoping for to help shed some light on a bunch of the mysteries surrounding things like gravity, time, space, dark matter, etc. Continue reading That time things got heavy man!
So I met Dee Snider today. Totally down to earth nice guy. My girl’s daughter goes to the School of Rock here in Las Vegas and Dee’s doing a song with a few of the students at Vegas View Recording in Henderson for his upcoming solo record. She got to record on a track doing backups with Dee and it was produced by Grammy and Oscar award winning producer/musician Damon Ranger. Both guys were gentlemen, a bunch of fun, and did just great with the kids. Continue reading Dee Snider and the School of Rock
