Well I finally decided to record myself rambling on about the old days, played some old tunes, and called it a podcast!

Ramblings of an “underground musician” Part 2
Last time I was babbling at you about “the scene” I emphasized the camaraderie among metalheads as being one of the highlights of being a part of it and that belief was once again validated this past weekend at the Las Vegas Deathfest 10. It’s hard not to have fun at a metalfest and it’s almost impossible not to make memories at one in Las Vegas, America’s playground. Most fests suffer from having to shut down early, nothing to do in town, and almost all give you the boot right away with nothing else open near the club. Not in Vegas. You can start your party at 3AM. Continue reading Ramblings of an “underground musician” Part 2
Things are brewing
I know I haven’t posted here in forever, maybe longer. Apologies. No. Fuck that. You get nothing. I’m not obligated to do shit!
Seriously though. I know I always say I’m going to post here or there more. Then I usually slack and don’t but hey, this is a post so let’s go. Continue reading Things are brewing
Ramblings of an “underground musician” Part 1
Of course I’ll be referring to the underground death metal scene as that’s the dysfunctional family of mutants I’ve been a part of most my life. I can’t comment on what it’s like being an underground blues artist or what one of those “subway” bands goes through but hey those guys are either in genres that are much more popular or have passers by at least throwing them some dollars or at least some appreciation. Continue reading Ramblings of an “underground musician” Part 1
Time is stupid.
Ugh! It’s been forever since I posted on my own site. Not even sure why I post in spurts here. Probably the same reason I have a half dozen musical projects in various stages of completion. There’s just too many things I’m interested in. I bet this is a common problem in today’s world. Continue reading Time is stupid.
The underground metal scene will probably stay that way…
The metal scene will always remain underground because of the large amount of people in the scene that act like trying to lay new music on them is some fucking shitty thing to do. Fucking weird to me to see post after post on social media hating the idea of someone trying to share their tunes. Some people even have a sort of public statement on their profile telling bands they will be ignored. Man that’s weird to me. Continue reading The underground metal scene will probably stay that way…
There’s just too many things
Yup, I did that thing where I get into too many things at once, buy a bunch of shit and then have no time to even open some of it. This sucks! Why can’t there be 50 hours in a day? I really need that “no sleep” pill to be invented already. All this crap and no time to use half of it. This is stupid. Or is it? No, it most certainly is, I’m just trying to throw some fake positive spin on it. Continue reading There’s just too many things
I listened to a lot of songs today… for once!
So, I sometimes neglect music. I’m either busy, locked into some weird Joe Rogan podcast marathon, stuck in an X-Files vortex (have you seen the new HD versions of the originals? Oh man!!!), or worse in the car but have to pay attention to the GPS or something. Today… today I played the most random collection of tunes and quenched some music thirst that I’ve been depriving myself of for a couple weeks (in Roger terms that might be a month or two)… Continue reading I listened to a lot of songs today… for once!
