Prince of Darkness

Ahhhh… 1987’s “Prince of Darkness” from John Carpenter. I fucking love this movie. This is one of those one’s I will always just leave on if it’s on cable.  I also frequently pull out and watch my DVD or digital copy. It’s also on Netflix. “Prince of Darkness” begins with the death of a priest who is a member of the brotherhood of sleep. His successor discovers a fluid being held captive hidden in the basement of a church. He then enlists the help of a local college professor and his physics students to figure out what the fluid is and translate the ancient texts that he has also discovered.

If you haven’t seen “Prince of Darkness“, rent it, buy it, whatever… acquire it and watch it now! You won’t regret it. Awesome performances from Donald Pleasence as the priest and Alice Cooper as a possessed homeless person.
