The Devil’s Rejects

This sequel to “House of 1000 Corpses” is one of my favorite horror films. I really dig Rob Zombie’s style, dirty, shocking and real. “The Devil’s Rejects” abruptly starts with sheriff Wydell (William Forsythe) and his deputies about to face of with the murderous backwoods Firefly family led by Otis (Bill Moseley) who’s enjoying a nice little nap with a dead female.  This scene is so fucking intense and blows me away every time, but that sort of sums up my thoughts on this movie. Real fucking intense, sick situations that grab you tight and don’t let go. “The Devil’s Rejects” has several amazing performances from William Forsythe and Sid Haig as the infamous Captain Spaulding.

So if you’ve got a strong stomach and tolerance for brutality watch it and be reminded why you should move quickly through some towns in our great country.
