Lately I’ve been having a lot of fun getting a bunch of t-shirt designs together for GetShirtsPrinted.com I’ve been resurrecting some old designs and creating all new ones. I’m very excited about the ability to do one offs that are quality with today’s DTG printers. I invite you to check out some of my prints below with some “how I did them” info and some obligatory general ramblings. Continue reading Having fun creating shirt designs for GSP
First off, Tom Cruise is certifiably crazy in my humble opinion (yeah, I write that crap out because I’m not lazy). That aside, I like this movie. It’s a cool little sci-fi movie that’s got a very bleak feel almost reminiscent of a “stuck in a haunted house” type of horror film for the first half of it. I just re-watched Dredd (hadn’t seen it since it came out) and I just had to mention it here.
I’ve always been a fan of the original “Dredd” movie in the way I’m a fan of the movie Commando. I know it’s silly, over the top, and insults my intelligence story wise, but it’s fun. In 1986 alien movies were taken to a new level. James Cameron’s “Aliens” is a masterpiece that in my eyes blows away the original. Blasphemy you say? Maybe. They’re really two totally different movies. “Alien” is more a man in a rubber suit monster movie where as “Aliens” is more of a military vs. alien infestation movie. Continue reading Aliens
