Conan the Barbarian

“Wrong! Conan, what is best in life? Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and to hear the lamentation of their women! This is good.” Best fucking line in cinematic history! Maybe a slight overstatement but I’m all about the John Millius1982 version of “Conan the Barbarian” starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Aliens

In 1986 alien movies were taken to a new level. James Cameron’sAliens” is a masterpiece that in my eyes blows away the original. Blasphemy you say? Maybe. The Devil’s Rejects

This sequel to “House of 1000 Corpses” is one of my favorite horror films. I really dig Rob Zombie’s style, dirty, shocking and real. “The Devil’s Rejects” abruptly starts with sheriff Wydell (William Forsythe) and his deputies about to face of with the murderous backwoods Firefly family led by Otis (Bill Moseley) who’s enjoying a nice little nap with a dead female. Star Wars Episode IV “A New Hope”

Well, what can I say. I saw Star Wars when it first came out in the theaters in 1977. I actually was one of the few people who was aware of this film coming out. I used to read Starlog and magazines like that as all good little nerds do.
